Colorful collage by Florida based artist Dee Perconti. A word from Artist: The ornate clothes on these women are made from bits and strips of my old canvases. Their jewelry is made from dried paint “skins”.
This monotype print takes us back to images of man from rock engravings from an Old Stone Age. It also visits symbols of a bird with a snake’s neck and a dog with long legs from Nazca, Peru. Here we are lost in a world from the past where the integration of cultures play in this fantasy. The ladder climbs to “nirvana” where suffering nor sense of self no longer exists.
Word from the Artist. Elements of the fantastic and make-believe exist in this monotype print. Here we encounter a place of whimsical attraction where one is encouraged to use your imagination visualizing a castle and magical animals.
